Transfer Flow has introduced the “nation’s first” large-capacity gasoline-powered replacement fuel tank for the 2020-22 Ford F-250 and F-350 Super Duty short-bed, crew-cab pickup trucks with 6.2 engines L and 7.3L.
The 58-gallon fuel tank system has passed extensive emissions testing and received an executive order from the California Air Resources Board, according to the Chico, Calif.-based OEM fuel system supplier.
The fuel tank is constructed of American-made 12-gauge aluminized steel for superior strength and corrosion resistance, along with exterior fuel lines and a highly engineered emissions system.
Each fuel tank is fitted with internal baffles for added durability and to reduce fuel splatter. This system features a complete installation kit, including straps and mounting hardware, to mount the heavy-duty tank and get it ready for the road. The tank comes with a 6 year, unlimited mileage warranty.
Designed for operators who want to maximize their fuel capacity and range, the tank sits in the same space as the stock fuel tank, inside the frame rail and above the differential. No kick plate is needed.
The tank is powder coated black for a durable satin finish, the manufacturer noted.
