New Delhi: The Delhi Government’s “Business Blasters” program aims to instill confidence in students as they share their business ideas with the aim of becoming an employer to boost Indian economy in the future.
The program, launched as part of the “Entrepreneurship Studies Program” for pupils in grades XI and XII, aims to train young entrepreneurs at school level.
As a result, around three thousand students in grades XI and XII studying in Delhi public schools have created nearly 51,000 teams and submitted as many business ideas.
This groundbreaking initiative aims to ensure that future big business tycoons emerge from Delhi government schools.
In episode 3 of the start-up show ‘Business Blasters’, students from a Delhi public school presented their ideas for receiving business investment.

Reinforced by the Delhi government’s entrepreneurship program, six students worked on a “TECHUP” project.
Upgrading computers with the belief that life can only be improved with a technology upgrade, this team created a lighter version of Windows that runs smoothly even on older hardware and doubles the processing speed of the computer.
The team built a low-cost computer, which runs on their custom software, with the help of seed money provided by the Delhi government.
As part of this program launched earlier in September, students in grades 11 and 12 are mentored and provided financial capital of Rs 2,000 as seed money to help them launch their business ideas.
The team shared their business ideas with Delhi Chief Deputy Minister Manish Sisodia, Lepton Software CEO Rajeev Saraf, and Suta co-founder Sujata.
“Our main motivation is to provide people with really affordable PCs with great performance,” said team leader Ansh.
“Basically we had online classes five to six months ago. The computer hooked up between lessons. We could no longer travel to play. So we used to play video games that didn’t even work properly. We have built a custom Windows 10 operating system, which can run even on low cost PCs and perform well, ”he added of his idea.
Ansh said his six-member team, which received an investment of Rs 12,000, aims to develop low-cost computers with that amount.
“The cost of our computer is Rs 15,000 to 16,000. We get a new computer these days for Rs 30,000 to 40,000. Our price is almost half,” he added when asked. asked if this wasn’t a great business idea.
Echoing similar thoughts, another team member said that students who are considering buying a new PC can buy it from our start-up.
Asked why the price of his product was so low, Ansh said, “Our main goal is to reach students. There are 3 lakh students in Delhi. Even if we take 0.1% of the total, there will be 300 students. If we generate a profit of Rs 4000 per student, it will be a profit of Rs 12 lakh.
He added that the low-cost computer his team built can be used in internet cafes and schools, especially where expensive computers are not needed but those that perform well.
“We plan to sell it for between 15,000 and 16,000 rupees depending on the configuration… We have not received any orders for the computer so far, but we have received orders for upgrades. We charge Rs 649 for the upgrade, ”he added.
Another team member said the team has an annual maintenance schedule in case customers run into an issue.
“There will be a supplement for the same. Customers will receive three to four visits per year. If they have a problem with a hardware, we’ll fix it. We will also fix any problems in the software, ”he added.
Ansh added that his team was not in favor of selling the business idea.
“We want to start our own business. Our name will be terminated if we merge with anyone, ”he added.
The team has so far received an order to upgrade 10 computers from a school.
“We also upgraded three computers in our school,” Ansh added.
The “TECHUP” team stated that they currently estimated that Rs 2.5 lakh would be needed to develop this business.
“Rs 60,000 will be needed to develop demonstration computers. Another Rs 15,000 to Rs 20,000 will be required for GST registration. Another Rs 20,000 will be needed for the advertisements. If we take a place, we will need an additional Rs 45,000-50,000, ”said a member of the team.
The team received a grant of Rs 75,000 from the CEO of Lepton Software.
“You need to fill 10 orders in the next two months. If you run it, we’ll talk about more funding in the future, ”he said.
