ten The 2023 Lincoln Navigator gets a torquey V6

The 3.5-liter twin-turbo V6 engine under the hood of the 2023 Lincoln Navigator is the same as the Ford Expedition. It produces 440 hp and 510 lb-ft of torque and is mated to a 10-speed torque converter automatic transmission. Power is transmitted through either RWD or 4WD transmissions, and it can tow an impressive 8,700 lbs.

The 2023 Lincoln Navigator can go from 0 to 100 km/h in 5.3 seconds and the quarter mile takes nearly 13.9 seconds. That makes it a little faster than the Cadillac Escalade which did the 0-60 MPH in 6 seconds. However, the BMW X7 was the fastest of the lot.

Being a full-size luxury SUV that weighs nearly 5,600 lbs, the 2023 Lincoln Navigator would need excellent hardware and braking characteristics to stop at high speeds without losing stability. Fortunately, he has everything he needs.

Braking from 70-0 MPH takes 185 feet and that’s on par with the Cadillac Escalade. 5 The 2023 Lincoln Navigator is loaded with safety features

Driver-assist features such as blind-spot monitoring, rear cross-traffic alert, automated emergency braking with pedestrian detection, forward collision monitoring and lane-keep assist are standard on all versions of the Navigator. It’s part of the Ford CoPilot360 suit that’s on board the 2023 Lincoln Navigator.

If you need adaptive cruise control with the semi-autonomous driving mode, you’ll need to opt for the optional packs. The 2023 Lincoln Navigator received a 5 stars in side crash test and 3 stars in rollover crash test conducted by NHTSA. However, the IIHS has yet to reveal the crash test information.

4 The 2023 Lincoln Navigator has a luxurious interior

Infotainment functions are handled by the 13.2-inch SYNC 4 LCD touchscreen infotainment display that is present in the center of the dash. It is a full touchscreen unit with no buttons, however, voice recognition is built in and this is going to be very beneficial while operating this device.

The excellent display resolution and long list of standard features, including Android Auto, Apple CarPlay, SiriusXM radio, navigation and Bluetooth, make this infotainment perfect for such a luxury offering. 2 The 2023 Lincoln Navigator has decent warranty coverage

Warranty coverage for this 2023 iteration of the Navigator is identical to outgoing model years. The limited warranty is covered for four years or 50,000 miles and the powertrain warranty is slightly better at six years or 70,000 miles.

If you opt for the Black Label trim that retails for an MSRP of $106,075, Lincoln also offers free maintenance coverage that lasts four years or 50,000 miles. When it comes to reliability, the older 2020 model year Navigator received an overall rating of 82 from consumers in the JD Power survey. There were no recalls or complaints for the 2023 model year according to NHTSA.

The long list of optional features and packages offered with the 2023 Lincoln Navigator makes it even more perfect. The Navigator’s interior and exterior can be customized more than rivals like the Escalade and X7, and that’s a major plus.

All these features are also at a great price, unlike the high price of the additional options of the BMW X7. Likewise, there are plenty of optional exterior features as well.
